NATURAL INGREDIENTS

GOAT’S MILK SOAP

Using a goat’s milk soap base will give you incredible results.

Added: RAW HONEY

Raw honey is such a great natural ingredient to use in your natural bath care and skincare recipes.  The raw honey adds a light layer of moisture while helping with deep pore cleansing, dark spots, reducing the appearance of fine lines, and evening and brightening skin tone.  It’s one of those ingredients that has so many benefits you are going to want to keep using it!

Added: SWEET ALMOND OIL

It is naturally rich in vitamins A, and E plus has antioxidant properties, while also soothing and nourishing the skin.  You can also use jojoba oil as it not only moisturizes but also doesn’t clog pores and soothes dry skin or sensitive skin.

Added: ESSENTIAL OILS

Essential oils add a wonderful scent to your natural goat milk soap. The possibilities are endless when it comes to which essential oils to use for your bar of soap. Some of my favorite essential oil blends are included after the recipe so you can choose the blend you enjoy!

Years ago I created a lavender and oatmeal shampoo for my dog and ever since then I’m a huge fan of oatmeal in homemade products.
Added: Ground Oatmeal choosing a delicate exfoliant. For dry or oily patches on the body – either one will benefit from having their pH balanced by oatmeal.
Oily skin can benefit from the absorbent nature of oatmeal. It’s often included in scrubs that work to remove dead cells and extra oil.
And of course, if you remember soaking in oatmeal after getting chickenpox as a child, you know that oatmeal can relieve itchy skin. A combination of oatmeal soap and an oatmeal soak is an effective treatment for rashes, chickenpox, poison oak, poison ivy, poison sumac, rashes, and insect bites.

Lavender not only boosts potent anti-inflammatory properties but is also ultra soothing for skin with a therapeutic scent - there are numerous ways lavender oil can benefit the skin. It can lessen acne, help even skin tone and reduce wrinkles. With lavender oil being naturally antibacterial, it makes all the more sense that this purple flower helps prevent, calm and heals the skin to help prevent acne breakouts. It unclogs your pores and reduces inflammation when you put it on your skin. Eczema can show up anywhere on your body. This dry, itchy and scaly condition can be either mild or chronic and, in most cases, not isolated to one area of the body. But, lavender oil has antifungal properties and reduces inflammation. It can help keep Eczema at bay. Lavender oil does an outstanding job of balancing your skin's moisture barrier so it remains not too dry or too oily.
